What if they don’t have the app?
Send them a tracking link on WhatsApp or by text. They watch for your arrival right in their browser, no account needed. Links are free, unlimited, and switch off 12 hours after you arrive.
BienRentré reassures; it doesn’t keep tabs on you. You start every trip yourself, and you can stop it whenever you like. Outside of a trip, the app doesn’t know where you are, and your people never see your history.
Running late isn’t an alert.
Running a bit late? BienRentré checks in with you first — are you okay? Slide to confirm, and no one’s disturbed. Need more time? One tap adds 15 minutes.
If there’s no answer when the countdown ends, your people are told, calmly. And if it was a false alarm, they hear that too.
Free for life: the alert will never be a paid feature.
BienRentré lets your people know — it’s not an emergency service. If you’re in danger, call 112 (or 17 in France), or text 114 if you can’t speak.

Scan a QR code on the spot, and everyone starts their own trip. The windows light up one by one. Once the last one’s lit, everyone can go to sleep.

What exactly is BienRentré?
An app that lets your people know when you arrive, without you having to think about it. You tap “I’m leaving,” BienRentré follows your trip, and the moment you arrive, your people get a message. Nothing else to do.
Which phones, and starting when?
BienRentré works on iPhone and Android. It’s currently being tested, and it’s coming soon.
Do the people I notify need the app?
No. You can send them a tracking link on WhatsApp or by text: they’ll see your arrival right in their browser, no account needed. If they do install the app, they’ll also get a notification when you arrive.
Does BienRentré track me all the time?
No. Location is only used during a trip you’ve started, and it stops the moment you arrive or cancel it. Outside of a trip, the app has no idea where you are.
Where does my data go, and for how long?
With “Progress only,” your location isn’t kept. At the other levels, it’s kept for as long as you choose (30 days by default), then deleted; the trip itself is deleted within twelve months at the latest. Nothing is ever sold, to anyone.
What if I forget to say I’m home?
That’s the whole point. Arrival is detected the moment you enter your destination’s radius, and the message goes out on its own, a minute later. You can change that delay, or choose to send it yourself.
What if my phone dies?
BienRentré doesn’t panic over a lost signal. If your people are following your trip, they’ll see that the app has stopped hearing from you, with a reassuring note — it’s often just a tunnel or a low battery. No alert goes out before your expected arrival time; only after that, if there’s still no word from you, do they get a message, along with the last thing the app heard.
Is it free?
The app is free. The alert and the tracking links always will be. Later on, a BienRentré+ plan will add extra comfort, like more people to notify and more groups. During the beta, everything is free.
